1. Acceptance and eligibility

These Terms govern your access to GuessTheCards, including its website, accounts, games, community features, virtual resources, competitions, shop, and support tools (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the

. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old and old enough to consent to online services where you live. If local law requires consent from a parent or guardian, you may use the Service only with that consent. You may not use the Service where doing so is prohibited by law.

2. Accounts and security

Provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law says otherwise. One person may not use multiple accounts to evade limits, manipulate results, or obtain duplicate rewards.

We may require identity or ownership verification before changing sensitive account information, handling privacy requests, or resolving payment issues. We will never ask you to send your password.

3. Game rules, rankings, and virtual items

Mode screens and published rules explain entry costs, scoring, timers, tie-breaks, eligibility, and rewards. Verified results are authoritative. Do not automate play, inspect sealed answers, interfere with requests, coordinate unfair answers, exploit defects, or manipulate queues, rankings, rewards, or eligibility.

Energy, Coins, Gems, access time, cosmetics, coupons, gifts, and other virtual items are limited, revocable licenses for use within the Service. They are not money, property, deposits, or investments; have no cash value; and may not be sold or transferred unless a feature expressly permits it. Balances, caps, grants, prices, and features may change. We may correct duplicate, fraudulent, or erroneous grants while preserving legitimate purchases as required by law.

Competitions may be changed, delayed, cancelled, or settled when necessary for integrity, safety, technical reliability, or legal compliance. Mode-specific rules control if they conflict with a general description elsewhere in the Service.

4. Community content

You retain any rights you hold in content you submit. You grant the Service a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, distribute, and moderate that content as needed to operate, promote, secure, and improve the Service. This license ends when the content is deleted except for reasonable backups, legal records, moderation evidence, and content already shared as part of a completed interaction.

Only submit content you have the right to use. Do not submit unlawful, infringing, deceptive, hateful, sexually exploitative, threatening, privacy-invasive, malicious, or spam content. Published challenges may be locked against edits to keep attempts and leaderboards consistent. Moderation decisions may include hiding, removing, limiting, or preserving content as evidence.

5. Purchases and subscriptions

The checkout screen states the item, billing period, currency, price, and available payment provider. Taxes and processor terms may apply. Subscriptions renew until cancelled unless the checkout says otherwise. Cancellation normally prevents the next renewal and does not remove access already paid through the displayed period.

Refunds, reversals, and billing corrections depend on the item, delivery status, payment provider, these Terms, and applicable law. Contact support with a receipt reference; never send full card or banking credentials. Fraud, chargeback abuse, or an unpaid balance may restrict payment features or account access while reviewed.

6. Acceptable use and enforcement

You may not attack or overload the Service; bypass security, rate limits, CAPTCHA, access controls, or account restrictions; scrape or automate without written permission; distribute malware; impersonate others; harass users or staff; collect personal data without consent; or use the Service for unlawful activity.

We may investigate, preserve evidence, remove content, reverse abusive rewards, limit features, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary. Serious or repeated violations may be acted on without advance notice. You may contact support if you believe an enforcement action was made in error.

7. Intellectual property and fan-content notice

The Service software, interface, original branding, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant permission to copy, resell, or create a competing service from them. GuessTheCards is unofficial Fan Content and is not endorsed by or affiliated with Wizards of the Coast. Magic card names, images, and related rights belong to their respective owners. Card data and images are provided through Scryfall subject to applicable source terms.

8. Availability, disclaimers, and liability

The Service is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, permanent availability of a feature, or that every card record or third-party source will always be accurate. To the extent permitted by law, implied warranties are disclaimed.

To the extent permitted by law, the Service and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or lost virtual items arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.

9. Changes and ending use

We may update the Service and these Terms. Material changes will be identified by a new effective date and, when appropriate, an in-product notice. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time and may use available account-deletion or privacy-request tools.

10. Questions and disputes

Contact support first so we can try to resolve a concern informally. These Terms are governed by applicable law, including any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
